keeping one healthy. It improves the flexibility of one’s body which helps one be active and
kicking.

We, at Manoj ornaments, value our employees. When we hire people we give them entry into

and wise.

Keeping this in mind, we have organized several yoga camps in the past so that our employees
feel a sense of well-being by practicing yoga and can feel our concern for their well-being. We
make sure that each and every-one of our employees benefits from these camps by not only
participating in them at work, but also learning yoga to do at their homes.

Up until now, these camps have been highly successful. Many an employee has gained from
them and learned enough asanas, pranayams to keep healthy and have made it a habit to do
them early morning before coming to work.

Besides improving work performance these camps have helped in boosting the morale of our
employees. Instead of being the traditional bosses we have chosen an unconventional way to
help and form a connect with our employees.

International yoga day is on June 21 st, , and we have decided to make the most of it. We are
going to have yoga sessions once again so that our employees get a boost to keep healthy, be
interested and happy at work.

Yoga is now not only popular in India but all over the world, therefore we have International
Yoga Day. On this day, we at Manoj Ornaments take the initiative to give our employees the
opportunity to benefit from yoga by holding yoga sessions and going further from the last yoga
camp. There are many pranayams and asanas which they can learn to improve their alertness,
their energy levels, and clear their minds. This will help them in their personal and professional
lives.

                             Gudi Padwa/Padva

Gudi Padwa is celebrated as a New Year in Maharashtra. It also signals the beginning of spring-time. This festive occasion is celebrated with much gusto. Padva flags of neem and mango leaves and lovely flowers are hoisted up in some houses. The flag is topped with silver or a copper vessel which is balanced and placed on top of the flag. The floors are vibrant with colourful rangoli, and sweets are prepared and enjoyed, there is joy everywhere. This festival is also called Ugadi or Yugadi in Karnataka.

The festival has a mythical association where many believe that Lord Brahma created the universe. Yet for some it is the coronation day when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after his victory over Ravana. For others, this festival is linked to Lord Shiva's dance. Why do we wear a particular type of jewellery?
Know the science behind it

The science behind Necklace
Gold necklaces attract bliss. A spiral of bliss is activated which is then transmitted in the body and in the environment. It is no wonder that gold necklaces are known to create a happy environment while silver chains preserve your energies.

Multi hued bangles: what do they tell?
Apart from being a fascinating cosmetic accessory, bangles say a lot more. If green makes you feel preen, it also increases your luck for wedlock.  While yellow mean happiness orange can point to success.
Pick out a red bangle; it will indicate energy and passion. Blue will mean wisdom while choose purple if independence is what you want.
Pick out silver if you want strength and gold when you want to be showered with fortune.

The science behind wearing earrings
Earrings also have a beneficial as it has the effect of acupuncture on the body. Apart from an embellishment it works as a remedy and treatment for menstrual problems.

The nose ring says it all:
According to Ayurveda, piercing the nose near a particular node decreases the menstrual pain. Left nostril is preferred as the nerves leading from the left nostril are linked with the female reproductive organs and is also known to ease childbirth.

Chunky and big sized ornaments
The main reason ornaments are worn is to absorb positive energy and to decrease negative energies. Science has it that sensitive women should wear big-sized ornaments to activate their Raja guna and kindle their fighting spirit.  Additionally, it attracts positive energy in higher proportion.

 Maang Tika
Maang Tika is said to control the heat as it points to the Ajna chakra which translates into “to know or perceive”.

Armlet
Bajuband, armlet or armband helps blood circulation.

Toe rings
A must for many married women, the science behind is equally as pure. Toe rings add a little pressure on your toes. This keeps your uterus healthy and increases ones chances of conceiving. It also decreases menstrual discomfort. Toes rings are in silver as they absorb the cosmic energies and transmit it into our bodies.

She will make music wherever she goes: Anklets
Here the scientific logic for wearing anklets is to re-vibrate your energies back to you. It is wise to wear silver anklets as it counters electric currents and keeps the positive energy flowing back into the body.

“Which is your favourite colour, mumma? She asked
“Colour of Joy” she replied
Puzzled she asked again “where can I see it?”
Bringing her favourite food she said “right on your face..”.
Holi Haiiiii

Known as the festival of colours it is a vibrant and full of life celebration where we drench others in lively hues. Famous in India as ‘Holi’, this boisterous jamboree is played to welcome the beginning of spring season. ‘Holika’ the bonfire signifies the good over evil is an annual affair carried out the night before Holi. All in all, the festival is a gala fun and frolic with water and colours which ends with everyone happily drinking bhang.

Taking inspiration from fun with hues, we design ornaments and jewellery to suit all the ages. A look at the enamelled Jewellery will take you into the vivacious world of colours. Get into the Holi mood; look your best in Green, the colour of nature and abundance.

Enamel can be made in any colour. The hardest colour is bright red. It is a task to hit the
right note of red colour.
